Summary edit

Description
English: Footbridge on Ffos-y-Mynych A ancient five-mile trackway runs across the St David's peninsula from Caerbwdi in the south to Penberi in the north, and is still walkable today. At this point north of Rhodiad y Brenin a stone slab allows passage over the tiny Afon Alun (a source of wild watercress).

Ffos-y-mynach/monk's dyke is said to have been the eastern limit of travel for the mediaeval clerics of St David's, or/and it may have demarcated an area of sanctuary to the west. For a map and other info about walking the route see http://www.mypembrokeshire.com/vnews/display.v/ART/2004/11/19/419dfcdf714ee
