| Description |
English: Footbridge over King's Brook The gate at the far end of the bridge is clearly horse friendly, but according to the 1:25000 map, the bridleway ends at the bridge. There has also clearly been rationalisation of rights of way in this area. The 1972 1:50000 shows a footpath continuing left along the brook at this point to rejoin the currently marked path farther along the brook. Equally, the path which drops down into the valley from the south, starting at the angle of the marked bridleway, formerly continued straight down to the bridge. The modern alignment follows established field boundaries and is clearly a sensible revision. |
