| Description |
English: Footpath The footpath in this photograph runs over land that is reclaimed, opencast workings. The footpath, from 343886 (behind the viewpoint) to the 322136 (ahead) leaves fields at the stile shown here and enters woodland that is being managed as part of the development of the Five Pits Trail.
Although, superficially well reclaimed land with realistic contours, the ground is poor. Drainage is very limited, the ground is hard and during wet weather, substantial amounts of water sit on the surface causing the top inch or so to be very muddy. To the right of the viewpoint and off the picture is a 344306 with a view across the Locko Plantation toward North Wingfield.
