English: Footpath from the Nottingham Canal to the Nottingham Canal! This footpath crosses the fields enclosed by a sharp bend in the canal created by it following the 60m contour. Taken into the sun, this photograph clearly shows the line of the path as it crosses the muddy ploughed field. The viewpoint of 1197220 is where the path meets the grassy bank and snakes its way up the steep bank through the gap in the hedgerow before rejoining the canal towpath. The line left to right across the photo is a narrow stream. another stream flows down to join it on the right of the path nearest the camera. These watercourses divide the fields in place of hedges or fences.
