| Description |
English: Footpath near Iddinshall Rough This footpath heads away from the track to Iddinshall Grange, with Iddinshall Rough (a moat hidden by woodland) behind the camera. Keeping to the narrow gap between the field and the brook the path crosses a bridge stile and then a field to link up with the Sandstone Trail. The name of the Grange is spelt Iddenshall on the modern O.S. map, but Iddinshall on Magic Map. The Civil Parish is Iddinshall on all maps, including the first edition O.S., so that would seem to be the correct spelling. |
