| Description |
English: Footpath to Salt End, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This footpath may seem a little strange - the hedge is well set back at this point; the reason? - the grassy section here used to be the main Hedon to Hull road. It was diverted several years ago several metres to the south of here to a new roundabout which serves the 'new' A1033 Hedon Bypass. The tarmac has therefore been removed here and grassed over - although the grassy bank still seems to have a slight camber on it like the original road did! |
