English: Foreshore Path, South Ferriby The footpath forming part of the Viking Way drops down to the riverside level just north-east of the village but there has been considerable erosion of the reed-beds along this foreshore and the path will be impassable on the highest tides. Note the deposit of broken reeds on the right side of this photograph, showing a recent high-water level. |
