English: Former Anderson & McAuley's, Belfast (detail)
See 432297. Anderson & McAuley's is opposite the Bank Buildings on the corner of Donegall Place and Castle Street. It was built in 1895 as a department store. It survived the bombing campaign but closed in the 90's when a national department store opened in the nearby Castle Court. The ground floor remains as shops but the upper floors are now offices. This is the clock (which also shows the correct time). |
