English: Former Brookfoot Wharf, Rastrick. All that is left is the masonry wall alongside the canal. If it is possible to get to it I will look for the iron rings that often remain at old moorings. Rastrick to the north of the river? Yes, for some reason the historic boundary of Rastrick took in an area over the river, bounded by Red Beck, Elland Road, and a field boundary in line with the present pipe bridge over the canal. |
