Description
English: The former Empire Hotel, Bath, now a restaurant and apartments.The River Avon and Parade Gardens are in the foreground. Note the three distinctive roof types: cottage, mansion and castle. Designed as a grand hotel, however in the 1940's the Ministry of Defence Navy Department came to Bath and occupied various sites,including the Empire Hotel.
