| Description |
English: Former Sunbeam Works Sunbeam was one of the major car producers during the early years of the twentieth century. The first cars were produced nearby at an old coach house on Upper Villiers Street. The company merged with a French firm to form Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq Motors in the 1920s. Problems in the 1930s led to a takeover by Rootes and production moved to Coventry. The premises were later used by Fischer Bearings. |
