English: Former railway siding, Oughtibridge The current railway line runs along the flat area on the left of the picture ... the snow covered slope on the right of the picture was where a siding ran off from the main line - near to the then Oughty Bridge station - and down through the trees to Oughtibridge Paper Mill. The siding (and regular rail traffic on the main line) has not been in existence for many years and very little remains with which to identify it. 1633348 1633369 I have now scanned and loaded a picture from 1994 which shows the route of the siding. 1643917 |
