English: Former stationmaster's house, Lisburn.
Lisburn was an important station on the GNR(I) line from Belfast to Dublin. The railway provided an imposing residence for the stationmaster built in typical GNR(I) style similar to the station. It later became the residence of the permanent way inspector and has now been sold for private occupation. The occupant has added some engraved-glass windows depicting railway themes. |
