Summary edit
DescriptionForrest Theatre from west.jpg | The Forrest Theatre at 1114 Walnut Street at the corner of S. Quince Street in the Center City area of Philadelphia, was built in 1927 at the cost of $2 million, and was designed by Herbert J. Krapp. The theatre was named after the 19th century actor Edwin Forrest, who was born in Philadelphia. It seats 1,851 and is managed by the Shubert Organization. The theatre was renovated in 1987. One unique aspect of the building is that the dressing rooms are in a separate building which is connected to the theatre by an underground tunnel.
