France - Fort De Royan Took The Worst Napalm Punishment On 15 April 1945. Shown Here, Approximately 10 Bombs Fall On The Target. Note: The first application of Napalm in France happened on July 17, 1944, when P-38s bombed a fuel depot at Coutances, near St Lo. The second use of napalm was on April 15, 1945, at the Atlantic coast town of Royan at the mouth of the Gironde.
