English: Some men in Nome could afford to dress well. This photo, taken in 1901 or 1902, shows four men on a Nome sidewalk wearing formal dress for the frontier. The man on the right wears a spotted sealskin coat and boots and sports a watch chain on his vest. Two of the others also wear fur coats.
