| Description |
From another rare volume preserved on Internet Archive. This one had double-page spreads featuring three photos each. The trouble was, the scanning made a complete pig's ear of the middle images, making one-third of the book unsuitable for my purposes. Fortunately there were some very good photos remaining, including most of the "usual suspects" of late 19th century French sculpture. Another technical problem was that most of the images were covered in white spots, and this one was a good (or rather bad) example. It's taken a bit of work to get rid of them, and if you see any that I've missed you're welcome to remove them yourself. |
