"Selon la vente de 1977, le modèle aurait été Anne-Marie Charron, Baronne de la Rivoire. Les dates démentent toutefois cette identification : décédée en 1769, Anne-Marie-Denise Charron avait épousé Joseph Pichon de la Rivoire en 1751, soit plus de vingt ans après la mort de François de Troy." [1]
