Español: Retrato del marino español Francisco Alsedo y Bustamante (1758-1805), que alcanzó el grado de capitán de navío de la Real Armada Española y murió en octubre de 1805 en la batalla de Trafalgar. El retratado aparece de pie y de medio cuerpo y con su mano derecha apoyada sobre un globo terráqueo. Con la mano izquierda sostiene un libro de Euclides, viste uniforme pequeño de teniente de navío y luce la venera y la cruz de caballero de la Orden de Santiago.
