Description
English: Francisco J. Cano is a young Ph.D. student in Physics at Le Mans-France since 2020 and a Ph.D. student in Nanosciences and Nanotechnology at Cinvestav-Mexico and Ph.D. He graduated from the Polytechnic University of Chiapas in 2015 as an Environmental Engineer and obtained a Master of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering from Cinvestav-Saltillo-México. He has been a member of the organizing committee of the Cinvestav-Zacatenco student council of the Mexican Society of Materials (SMMater). He has participated as part of the organization of the 1st State Interdisciplinary Congress on Materials 2022 and from 2023 on he is an active member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). From 2018 to 2020 he held the position of Safety and Hygiene Engineer at the Korean company KOLON Industries Mexico. His research interests cover the study of ceramic materials such as ZnO, ZrO2, TiO2, and Graphene oxide for applications in water treatment by adsorption and photocatalysis mechanisms. He has experience in materials synthesis by sol-gel and characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, and Raman, mainly. He has participated as a speaker at International congresses and conferences in Argentina, Mexico, and France, and from 2021 on, he has participated as lead author and co-author in publications in International Journals and Conferences papers.
