English: Born: October 26, 1860 Hartford, Connecticut Died: April 8, 1958 Perkins, Oklahoma. Age 97. Nicknamed Pistol Pete 1875. Statue located in Oklahoma Territorial Plaza Perkins, Oklahoma. From 1923 to 1958- Living Mascot Symbol of Oklahoma State University and remains Public Mascot. Adopted Likeness as Mascot of the University's of Wyoming and New Mexico State. Received Director's Award from National Cowboy Hall of Fame 1997.
