Deutsch: Mozartdenkmal am Mozartplatz in Frankfurt. Das Mozart-Denkmal am Mozartplatz in Frankfurt am Main erinnert an den Komponisten Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

1913 wurde von Georg Bäumler nach einem Entwurf von K. Krüger ein Mozart-Denkmal in Frankfurt geschaffen. Es wurde jedoch im Zweiten Weltkrieg vollständig zerstört.

Nach dem Krieg wurde ein neues Denkmal geschaffen. Am 11. Mai 1963 wurde auf dem Mozartplatz vor dem Haus Bockenheimer Anlage 15 das neue, von Prof. Gerhard Marcks geschaffene, Mozart-Denkmal eingeweiht. Es besteht aus einer mehr als 4,90 Meter hohen Säule auf der eine Büste, bedeckt mit einem geflügelten Hut, sitzt. Der Hut hat eine Spannbreite von 1,45 m. Verwendet wurde Schwedischer Granit. Das Denkmal trägt die Inschrift „Dem Genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart“ (aus Wikipedia Gerhard Marcks).

In 1913, Georg Bäumler created a Mozart monument in Frankfurt according to a design by K. Krüger. However, it was completely destroyed in World War II.

After the war, a new monument was created. On the 11th May 1963, the new Mozart monument created by Prof. Gerhard Marcks was inaugurated on Mozartplatz in front of Haus Bockenheimer Anlage 15. It consists of a column more than 4.90 meters high on which a bust, covered with a winged hat, sits. The hat has a span of 1.45 m. Swedish granite was used. The monument bears the inscription "The Genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart" (from Wikipedia Gerhard Marcks).
