St. Anthony Church and Monastery at the Töngesgasse (Tönges derived from Antonius (Anthony)), in place of the present houses No. 14 and 16, depicted according to the city map by Merian of the 17th century at a larger scale. The Monastery was secularised in 1802 and demolished in 1803. (s. the city map by Merian, Horne, Geschichte von Frankfurt, page 95 and Baudenkmäler in Frankfurt a. M., second issue, page 359.)
Deutsch: 64a. Antoniterkirche und Kloster in der Töngesgasse (Tönges entstanden von Antonius), auf der Stelle der jetzigen Häuser No. 14. und 16, nach dem Merian'schen Stadtplane aus dem 17. Jahrhundert in vergrößertem Maßstabe dargestellt. Das Kloster wurde 1802 säkularisiert und 1803 abgebrochen (s. den Stadtplan von Merian, Horne, Geschichte von Frankfurt, Seite 95 und Baudenkmäler in Frankfurt a. M., 2. Lieferung, Seite 359.)
