Deutsch: Relief Franz Pehr an der Hauptschule in der Stataturstadt Villach Völkendorf, Kärnten, Österreich, Europäische Union.

Franz Pehr, geboren 13.10.1878 in Wolfsberg, gestorben 11.07.1946 in Villach. Er war unter anderem Hauptschuldirektor in Villach, Kärntner Naturwissenschafter und Heimatkundler. Er beschäftigte sich mit Laufkäfergattungen, heimischen Schmetterlingen und insbesondere mit Ameisen, Wanzen und Libellen.

65 Veröff. (1908-1948 posthum) u.a. über Eucarabus Ullrichi Germ. in Carinthia II, die Verbreitung der Carabini in Kärnten in Soc. ent., die Wald- und Auenflora des Lavanttales in Verh. Zool.-Bot Ges. Wien, und einen Beitrag zur Schmetterlingskunde Kärntens in Carinthia II. Nach ihm benannt wurden im Jahr 1947:Cychrus rostratus var. pherii, Carabus fabricii var. pehrii.
