Español: Escultura de Frédéric Berthelot en Ibiza. El paseo marítimo de Ibiza caracteriza la extraordinaria transformación moderna de extensión de Ibiza. Para la realización de esta rotonda, mediante una creación simbólica de un yacimiento arqueológico que se inspira en la riqueza histórica y mítica de la isla, descubrimos, entre otros elementos, una columna estrellada en dos partes; la base erguida deja aparecer en su núcleo una piedra mineral al relieve de la preciosa isla, Ibiza. La parte de la columna caída al suelo desvela en su extremidad quebrantada el negativo de la isla como si fuera la ganga del mineral. Ésta misma del color de la tierra roja tan propia y particular de la isla.
En la actualidad esta escultura está parcialmente destruida por un accidente de tráfico y a la espera de su reconstrución por parte del ayuntamiento. |
