Deutsch: "Friedrich Michael von Pfalz-Zweibrücken-Birkenfeld [...] mit Brustharnisch, blauer Uniformjacke, Hermelinmantel und Ordensband. Friedrich Michael war Pfalzgraf und Herzog von Zweibrücken-Birkenfeld und Graf von Rappoltstein. Er wurde zum Stammvater der bayerischen Könige. Er war seit 1758 Feldmarschall der Kaiserlichen Armee und vom 17. März 1760 bis April 1761 vom Regensburger Reichstag ernannter katholischer Reichs-Generalfeldmarschall der Reichsarmee. Porträts des Fürsten befinden sich auch in der Sammlung der Reiss-Engelhorn-Museen, Mannheim und der Alten Pinakothek, München (Sammlungskatalog S.535 ff.). Vermutlich ein Werk von Johann Georg Ziesenis." [1]
