Description
English: A programme of music and speeches for the opening of the free public library in Wellesley Street Auckland. The front cover shows an illustration of the building with text and an ornate border. Speeches were by the Mayor His Worship A Devore, Sir George Grey, Thomas Peacock, J M Clark, W R Waddel, Sir George Maurice O'Rorke, and the music conductor was Herr Carl Schmitt. Inside is a portrait of Sir George Grey, and the back cover shows the words of "God save the King" and a pot of lilies.
