English:
Peace memorial by Pierre Szekely (installed 1983). A pink/light red granite almost 500 cm high memorial with a non-figurative sculpture resembling a bird. It is a work of figurative meaning, not abstract, but not figurative either. The pedestal is built in Budapest, covered with granite cubes, and signs/plaques with word 'peace' in different languages. Plaque on base: ~This sculpture is a Pierre Szekely work, that donated to birth city under François Mitterrand and János Kádár patronage - Nagyvárad Square (Orczy Road and Üllői Road corner), Tisztviselőtelep neighborhood, 8th district of Budapest

Béke-emlékmű Székely Péter alkotás (Felállítás 1983. június 14.)[1] Madárhoz hasonlító nonfiguratív szoborral. Képletes értelmű alkotás, nem absztrakt, de nem is figuratív. Rózsaszínű gránit közel 500cm magas. A talapzat Budapesten épül, gránitkockákkal van fedve. Felirat a talapzat tábláin: 'PAIX' és Mitterand aláírása, 'BÉKE' és Kádár János aláírása ezenkívül még vagy tucatnyi nyelven szerepel a béke felirat - Budapest, Józsefváros, Tisztviselőtelep, Nagyvárad tér, Orczy út és Üllői út sarok
