Der Blick geht von der - begrünten und noch teils mit einer Mauer umgebenen - Goseriede in Richtung des Anzeiger-Hochhauses, vor dem neben Fahrrädern und einem Pferdfuhrwerk auch Automobile parken. Rechts von dem Gebäude ist das Goseriedebad (später Sitz der Kestnergesellschaft mit einem Turm dahinter zu sehen. Links neben dem Hochhaus steht das Geschäftshaus der Striehlschen Waisenstiftung, an dessen Stelle nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg die Sparkasse an der Goseriede entstand ...
