Dansk: Kammerassessor G. Collin (Michael Gottlieb Birckner Collin, 1806-1885) var Fritz Petzholdts svoger, og det er hans håndskrift, der ses bag på lærredet. G. Collin skrev således på bagsiden, når han monterede Petzholdts malerier i ramme.
English: Civil servant G. Collin was Petzholdt's brother-in-law, and it is his handwriting on the back of the canvas. G. Collin wrote on the back when he framed Petzholdt's paintings.
