Notes Henry Tuxen's unpublished Catalogue Raisonné of 50 Works of Fritz Petzholdt in a private collection 1942/43 no. 46.
Dansk: Kammerassessor G. Collin (Michael Gottlieb Birckner Collin, 1806-1885) var Fritz Petzholdts svoger, og det er hans håndskrift, der ses bag på lærredet. G. Collin skrev således på bagsiden, når han monterede Petzholdts malerier i ramme. Henry Tuxen, som har lavet den upublicerede liste på 50 malerier og tegninger, var efterkommer, Petzholdt var hans oldeonkel. Tuxen fik mulighed for at registrere de kunstværker, der var i familiens eje. Det vides, at svogeren G. Collin i hvert fald ejede 42 malerier, som solgtes efter hans død i 1886.
English: Civil servant G. Collin was Petzholdt's brother-in-law, and it is his handwriting on the back of the canvas. G. Collin wrote on the back when he framed Petzholdt's paintings. Henry Tuxen, who made the list of the paintings by Petzholdt is a relative of the painter. Petzholdt was the brother of Tuxen's great-grandmother. Tuxen registered the paintings owned by the family, and G. Collin owned more than 42 paintings, that were sold after his death in 1886.
