Transcription: here for certain. Emma is very poorly now with a side ache & I know not what but Ma is expected in town daily & I trust that then she will be better. Caroline is up to E.G. Loring’s passing a social evening. If she picks up any news, I will open this & put it in. All I can say more is, if you have not written, write as soon as you get this. If I do not have a chance soon I will send you “the Slave” by the stage. Mr. Tyler has made Warren a present of a nice shaggy outside coat. Dr. Cutter is engaged to Mary Ann’s Aunt Betsey & is to be promised in a month or two. With love to all. Ever & ever yrs, Anne
