Summary edit

Description
English: Fungus, Crawfordsburn Glen (2). Crawfordsburn Glen is a deciduous (mainly beech) wood. It is well tended but leaves, fallen trees, branches and old roots are often left undisturbed. That, combined with the time of year and the present wet and humid spell, provides excellent conditions for the growth of fungi. The problem today was not finding them but deciding which to omit. This one was growing in beech nuts and mulching leaves (I have given up guessing the species). Continue to 904519.
