Description
English: Further restoration, St Mary's, Ross-on-Wye. The spire, which rises to 205 feet, dates from the 14th century and was rebuilt in 1721, which is when the pinnacles were added. They became unsafe and were removed and replaced in 1986. The top of the spire was replaced in 1952. This year's restoration, to the tower, spire and roof has an estimated cost of £200,000.
