| Description |
Manchester's iconic Leyland Atlantean, bodied by Northern Counties and was new to Greater Manchester Transport in January 1984, it was later renumbered 4697 in 1992 about a year after being repainted into this livery. Withdrawn by First on Wednesday 16th August 2000, this bus was restored in the 1991 GM Buses livery and has been given back it's original fleet number. It had spent it's entire working life based at Bury. Seen at Heaton Park on Sunday 2nd September during the annual Trans Lancs Rally event |
