Summary edit

Description
English: "Concordia res Parvae Crescunt", Latin for "Unity makes Strength" (Dutch:Eendracht maakt macht), gable stone on the Hoofdwacht, a garrison built in 1683 at Janskerkhof, Utrecht. This was the place where the civic guard nightwatch was based that guarded the meetings across the street at the Statenkamer. The gable stone gives the date 1680, which refers to an earlier building.
