Rückseite: ROMA - RENASC. Roma steht mit Helm und Rüstung nach r. Sie hält in ihrer l. Hand einen Speer und auf ihrer ausgestreckten r. Hand eine sie bekränzende Victoria mit Palmzweig.

Kommentar: Die Rückseitendarstellung der Göttin Roma mit der Legende ROMA RENASC(ens) nimmt eine herausragende Stellung in der Münzprägung Galbas ein. Mit diesem Bild feiert er die Wiedergeburt Roms, die Befreiung der Stadt von der Schreckensherrschaft des Nero.
