Description
Português: Galhardete marítimo oficial da Província de São Paulo.

Desenhada por Rafael Zaidan M. R. seguindo o modelo proposto pela fonte: [1], e pelo que consta aqui: [2] como galhardetes ditos de registro, que indicavam a província de origem dos navios mercantes brasileiros, tal informação consta do álbum da Marinha francesa “Pavillons”, de 1858 (Album des pavillons, guidons et flammes de toutes les puissances maritimes).

Esses galhardetes tinham a forma retangular, aproximadamente 1:16 e eram confeccionados de simples padrões geométricos representando bandeiras de sinal, lembrando muito as atuais flâmulas de Fim-de-Comissão que são hasteadas no tope do mastro principal dos navios.
