Español: Este retrato lo realizó el famoso fotógrafo portugués José Ferreira Guimarães en la ciudad de Río de Janeiro (Brasil), y dado que figura la dirección del estudio al pie de la foto (rua Gonçalves Dias, nº 2), podemos datarla entre la fecha en que se inauguró dicho estudio, 1886, y la disolución del grupo, en 1899. Según se anuncia en la prensa local, este tipo de fotografías tenían un precio de 12.000 reales, lo cual es mucho dinero; seguramente la fotografía se tomó durante una de las giras del grupo, que realmente alcanzó enorme éxito en varios países americanos. |
