Description Known as the Prayag of Chattisgarh, Rajim is situated at the confluence of Mahanadi (Chitrotpala), Pairi and Sondur. Rajim is also famous for its ancient temples. One such temple is Rajiv Lochan Mandir dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Garuda, this vehicle mount of Vishnu is located at the centre of this temple which is also one of the most ancient temples of the region built during the Nala dynasty.
