| Description |
English: Gate to Great Linford Manor Park In the Middle Ages there were cottages in this area near the church. When the Manor was built in the 18th century, they were all cleared away to improve the view. Later still, the Grand Union Canal came through - you can see a canal boat moored in the middle distance. Now the park is a popular place all through the year and hosts the Linford Canal Festival each summer. |
