| Description | I do not like these new flak jackets they are issuing us. I have kept my old one (I grew attached to it after spending seven straight months wearing it everyday while in Iraq) and dread the day I have to turn it in for one of these newer designs. For one thing, it is unnecessarily complex. They have all these fancy velcros that require opening. If I ever crash into the ocean, I am dead. I do not know how to swim and these extra heavy flak jackets will take too long to open. "Quick release" my ass! By the time I take out the third velcro strap, I would have drowned. |
