Deutsch: München (Altstadt), Max-Joseph-Platz: In der Unterführung zum Nationaltheater befindet oder befand sich diese bronzene Gedenktafel für den Friedhof des Franziskanerklosters. Bei der Auflösung des Franziskanerklosters 1802 wurde auch der Friedhof aufgelöst. Soweit seine verbliebenen untertägigen Reste nicht 1963 dem Tiefgaragenbau zum Opfer fielen, stehen sie jetzt als Bodendenkmal mit der Aktennummer D-1-7835-0314 unter Denkmalschutz.
Die Gedenktafel datiert wohl von ca. 1963. Sie wird 1973 in einem Buch von August Alckens beschrieben. Das Foto zeigt den Zustand von 1999. Die Unterführung ist seit mindestens zehn Jahren gesperrt (Stand: 2022). Auf dem Friedhof hatten viele Münchner Patrizierfamilien ihre Begräbnisse. Von überregionaler geschichtlicher und kulturgeschichtlicher Bedeutung sind außerdem die vier auf der Gedenktafel ausdrücklich genannten Männer: Wilhelm von Ockham (um 1288 – 1347), Leonhard von Eck (1480–1550), Orlando di Lasso (1532–1594) und Joseph (von) Effner (1687–1745). |
