Description
English: As a Sikorsky SH-3A Sea King from Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 11 (HS-11) hovers above, the Gemini 12 spacecraft with parachute open descends to the Atlantic with astronauts Jim Lovell and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin aboard. HS-11 was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 52 (CVSG-52) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Wasp (CVS-18) for the recovery of Gemini 12.
