English: Georgian Orthodox church built in honour of Evstathe from Mtskheta was built in 1870-ies in place of ruins of a small church from the times of Queen Tamar. It stood on the Korghanov street (now Giorgi Akhvlediani street, formerly Preovskaya). In 1923 it was was changed into a residential building and one of the first residents of the building became a composer, Meliton Balanchivadze (Father of George Balanchine). ქართული: ევსტათე მცხეთელის სახელობის ქართული მართლმადიდებლური ეკლესია. მე-19 საუკუნის 70-იან წლებში ააგეს თამარ მეფის დროინდელი მცირე ეკლესიის ნანგრევებზე. იდგა ყორღანოვის ქუჩაზე - დღევანდელი გიორგის ახვლედიანის (ყოფილი პეროვსკაია). 1923 წელს გადააკეთეს საცხოვრებელ სახლად. ერთ-ერთ პირველ მოსახლედ ნაეკლესიარ სახლში კომპოზიტორი მელიტონ ბალანჩივაძე შეასახლეს. |
