     Subject (TGM): Music halls; Buildings; Ohio--Akron
English: German-American Music Hall (1904, demolished in 1929), East Exchange Street, Akron, Ohio. Brick music hall with a stage expansive enough to accommodate opera performances; 2000 seat auditorium, 800 seat dining room, financed by the German-American publisher Paul E. Werner (?-1931). Demolished to make way for the home of the Akron Times-Press newspaper which in 1938 became the Akron Beacon-Journal.
