English: An early style .en:Stahlhelmet, a German military steel helmet, with a national eagle-and-swastika decal (Reichsadler, Wehrmachtsadler) as used by soldiers in the Wehrmacht Heer, the army of Nazi Germany, in glass case, displayed for sale for 1150 euros.
  • Photo taken in 2013 in a shop in Sainte-Mère-Église, Normandy, France, the village the American 82nd Airborne Division captured from the Germans in the days after D-Day. The town played a significant part in the Normandy landings (D-Day), the landing operations and associated airborne operations on Tuesday, 6 June 1944 of the Allied invasion of Normandy in Operation Overlord during World War II.
