Description
Wrecks of a German planes at El Aouiana airport, Tunis, Tunisia, May 1943. In front lies a propeller of a BMW 132 radial engine of a Junkers Ju 52. Behind it lies an water-cooled engine (probably DB 601 of Jumo 211), and the wings of a Messerschmitt Bf 109. A damaged Henschel Hs 129B is visible in the center, just before the burned out center section of a Messerschmitt Me 323 Gigant transport plane. In the right background is the fuselage of a Ju 52.
