Description
English: Caption: "Collapsible Cycle Used By Germans German soldier with collapsible cycle. The cycle corps of the German army are just now being equipped with a bicycle which can be fitted into such a compact mass that each man is able, without retarding his movements, to carry the complete bi­cycle outfit on his back. The cycle is of collapsible parts. The frame is made of telescoping tubes which fit into one another. The fork of the machine and part of the frame are in one piece the rear wheel, chain and sprockets are in a second, and the handle bars make up the third section."
