Description
English: Volunteers from several different bases, delayed entry program members and civilians gather to present a 1,100 pound,150 x 300 ft. U.S. flag during the playing of the national anthem prior to the Coke Zero 400 Daytona International Speedway race July 7, 2012, at Daytona Beach Fla. Distinguished visitor U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Stanley Clarke, Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region -- 1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern) commander was in attendance to administer the Oath of Enlistment to the DEP members. Members of the 336th Recruiting Squadron out of Moody Air Force Base, Ga., also attended the event to assist Clarke and spread knowledge about the Air Force.
